Artist Statement:
"Rock and Crystal specimens have always held a fascination for me. Collecting various stones from hiking trips and mineral shops created a formidable accumulation. My creative art background helped me to individualize each gemstone with beads and bits of jewelry giving them personality. I call them my angels because they seem to bring me different feelings of peace, or love, or joy. A golden pyrite with green jade feels like abundance. The aged fossilized petrified wood speaks to me of ancient wisdom. Many people use them for altar pieces and I personally view them more than just another knickknack. To me, crystals contain specific geometry, light refraction, vibration, and frequency. Each individual creation speaks with a voice of its own.".
